The Indiana School Board will meet tonight, but superintendent Michael Vuckovich’s recent resignation announcement will not be addressed tonight.
Vuckovich has accepted a superintendent’s position at the Windber School District after the district offered him the post last Thursday night. According to a statement released at the time, the board said they will look to promote Director of Education Robert Heinrich to the acting superintendent post.
Up for approval tonight is the 2023-2024 district calendar along with lists of school district holidays and act 80 days, a request for the IHS baseball boosters to be recognized as a non-profit organization as part of the group’s request for a small games of chance license, and a Memorandum of Agreement with the district and AFSCME to adjust the hourly rate for LPN’s.
The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and will be held in the district board room and streamed online. You can watch the meeting by clicking on the link below.
