Few details are available on a man found dead in Two Lick Creek last night.
Homer City fire and rescue crews along with Citizen’s Ambulance and the State Police were called out at 5:16 in the evening for what Indiana County 911 initially called a Physical Rescue near the Indiana Borough Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. Homer City Fire Chief Terry Gardner said the Coroner was called out to the scene and they assisted in pulling the body out of the creek, but the Coroner’s office and State Police took over investigation after that.
The identity of the person found has not been released by the coroner’s office, but County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. has called the death a “private matter” and it is not suspicious or accidental in nature.
