Cities and venues have reached out to the NHL to pitch their city as a potential playoff host city if they want to hold neutral-site playoff games. That list is lengthy already, and the league hasn’t started to whittle it down yet, but some of the areas being considered are Grand Forks, North Dakota; Manchester, NH; and Saksatoon, Saskatchewan. The games would likely be held in empty arenas.
