State police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck in northern Indiana County overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
The truck’s owner, 58-year-old Mark Deyarmin of Mahaffey, reported last seeing the vehicle parked along Fire Tower Road in Banks Township at 11 o’clock Saturday night. The Chevy Silverado was gone the next morning but was found in Mahaffey Borough in Clearfield County, with some items missing from it. Police say a Garmin GPS unit, a crate with tools and straps in it, and $30 in change were stolen. Total value of the stolen items is about $280.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police in Punxsutawney.
