Contract negotiations continued yesterday between the State System of Higher Education and the union that represents faculty at those schools.
According to a joint news release from PASSHE and APSCUF, talks continued yesterday as scheduled. The only topic that was discussed was department chairs. Both sides are slated to continue negotiations on February 28th.
APSCUF represents about 5000 faculty and coaches within the State System of Higher Education. The negotiation session was for the faculty contract, which expires on June 30th of this year. The current four-year coaches contract also expires on June 30th of this year.
