During their meeting Monday afternoon, the Cherryhill Township Supervisors heard from some concerned residents regarding communicating road projects.
Concerns centered around the lack of communication between residents and the municipal authority after two residents reported minor cosmetic damage to their trucks after the road was tarred and chipped. Supervisors Chairman Jim Golden suggested a couple of ways communication can be improved.
Golden adds residents can inquire about these ideas by calling the township office at 724-465-7453.
In other business, Supervisors approved a permit that will allow mining operations at the Heilwood Mine, which runs under portions of Cherryhill, Green, and Pine Townships. No date has been set for when mining operations will begin, but Golden said it is expected to start in the summer.
