In a Facebook post on their website, Dimaio’s Market in Numine reported yesterday that one of their employees has tested positive for Covid-19. The worker was in contact with another person from elsewhere who then tested positive.
The store says the employee has not been at work in the last week and is self-quarantined. She was at work for two days before she herself entered self-quarantine and all employees who were in close contact with her for those two days have been placed in quarantine.
The worker has experienced only very mild symptoms, and no one else on the DiMaio’s staff has experienced any symptoms. The store closed early yesterday for disinfection, in line with CDC guidelines. They were to reopen today (Sunday) at 8:00 AM.
The post does not note where the employee is from. Armstrong County now has 12 Covid-19 cases. Indiana County’s total is nine.
