Quick acting members of the IUP and Indiana Borough Police helped stop a fire at an off-campus apartment building.
Members of the Indiana Fire Association were called out to Wyoming Hall on Oakland Avenue at 5:46 PM for a reported structure fire. As it turned out, there was a grease fire in one of the rooms that got out of control. IUP and Indiana Borough Police used fire extinguishers to put out the flames.
No one was hurt, but the room will need to be refurbished.
