Linda Lee (Bush) Bowman, 69, Graceton died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Dorothy (Marshall) Bush and was born September 25, 1948 in Medina, New York.
Linda was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Homer City where she was a longtime missions coordinator. She was also a volunteer for Christian Counseling in Indiana. Linda enjoyed spending time with the little love of her life, her granddaughter, Cora.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Bowman, Graceton and Nicole and husband Charles Elery, Homer City; grandchildren, Cora Rose Elery and Xavier Elery and sister-in-law, Betty Quick, Houtzdale. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her church family also survive her.
Linda was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married July 19, 1975; two brother-in-laws, Paul Quick and Daniel Bush and three sisters, Debra Bush, Loretta Shaffer and Iona “Peach” Herrity.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the C Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Jon Ditter and Rev. R.A. Wallace, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
