Yesterday, Major League Baseball and their Players Association held a 45-minute conference call to essentially discuss where they wanted to go from today forward. The two sides reached an agreement on service time, with players being credited for a full season this year even if the season is shortened. If the season is outright cancelled, players would gain the same amount of service time as they did in 2019. Owners also agreed to advance players portions of their salaries spread out over April and May.
