On Thursday, Governor Tom Wolf issued an order to close all “non-life-sustaining” businesses unless they were deemed “essential”. On Friday, the Governor delayed the start of that enforcement period to Monday morning at 8:00 AM.
The reason for the delay was due to the high volume of waiver requests from businesses that were arguing that their business was life-sustaining.
The state department of community and economic development has provided ways to contact them to seek a waiver for the Governor’s order. Businesses can either call 1-877-PA-HEALTH and select option 1 or they can email the department directly at RA-dcexemption@PA.gov
Also, there is an email address to contact the Wolf administration with questions on the closing. That address is ra-dcedcs@pa.gov.
