Police reports include two instances of DUI, an underage drinking, an incident of disorderly conduct and harassment, and a burglary.
Indiana Borough Police report that 19-year-old John Harvey Ireland of Lucernemines was charged early Sunday morning for underage drinking. Shortly before 2 o’clock, Ireland was found to have consumed alcohol on the 600 block of Wayne Avenue.
Just after 1 AM Sunday morning, borough police report they were stopped by a bouncer at Culpepper’s Bar due to a male pushing a bouncer. The identified bouncer stated that Myles Catlin of Pittsburgh was attempting to fight in the bar, and when the bouncer intervened, Catlin pushed him to the ground. Catlin was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment.
State police nabbed a speeder from eastern Pennsylvania on Thursday morning on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township, and he’s been charged with driving under the influence of marijuana. Police attempted to pull over 35-year-old Christopher Ryan Tucker of Kempton, Berks County, for driving 85 miles-per-hour in a 55 MPH zone near Gas Center Road. Tucker sped up to 110 miles-per-hour before finally pulling over. He consented to a search of the vehicle and troopers found marijuana and a vaporizer containing burnt marijuana. Tucker was arrested and taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center for a blood draw, which he refused. He was then arraigned before District Judge Jennifer Rega and placed in the Indiana County Jail with bond set at $5,000.
Police say a 20-year-old Pittsburgh man was under the influence of illegal narcotics when he was pulled over on October 5th on Route 422 in Armstrong Township. The suspect, who is not publicly identified, also had marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him.
Police report a burglary at a home on Main Street in Plumville. Sometime between October 7th and 15th, someone entered the home and removed a Mendino brand drum set valued at $500. Two car rims valued at $20 were stolen from a shed. The drum set was later recovered from another home nearby. No suspect has been named.
