At last night’s Blairsville-Saltsburg school board committee meetings, the school board announced that they will try to hold their next school board meeting using a video chat program.
Tests are expected to be run soon to use a streaming camera the district has for sporting events to stream the meeting through Zoom video chat. Board President Rick Harper explains.
When details are finalized on the board meeting, they will be posted to the district website. The next school board meeting is scheduled for March 24th.
In other business, the board discussed working on the boiler system at the Blairsville campus. Harper said that the boiler is old and powers both the high school and elementary complex.
Harper said the board may look into getting two boilers for the Blairsville Complex, much like what is currently in place at the Saltsburg complex.
