A Glen Campbell woman has been accused of bilking an Indiana man out of $1,600 in a scheme to get satellite TV at her home.
State police say it happened in May of 2015 when 37-year-old Brandi Lynne Lydic lived along Cresswell Road in Brush Valley Township. Lydic at the time was caring for the 60-year-old man’s mother and used his personal information to open a DirecTV account at her address. The man was unaware of the account until it was $1,600 in arrears and he was contacted by a collection agency. He’d never had DirecTV.
Lydic is charged with identity theft.
