An Indiana High Assistant Football Coach now faces a charge of harassment.
21-year-old Jordan Casses is now facing a summary charge of harassment in connection with an incident at the Indiana School District Football Field in White Township. Casses allegedly grabbed a 15-year-old JV Football player during a game on September 20th in an aggressive manner after the player failed to provide coverage during a play. The summary charge was filed at District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Casses remains on paid suspension from the district. Superintendent Dale Kirsch said now that a charge has been filed, he will talk with school officials to determine where to go next as far as Casses’ future with the district is concerned. Kirsch said while he was in charge of making a suspension a paid or unpaid one, the board is ultimately in charge of the hiring and firing.
In a related matter, Indiana High Football Coach John Allen Snyder, who was suspended for three games earlier this year, will not be on the sideline for this week’s game. But Kirsch added that it was not because of a suspension, and a decision has not been made if Coach Snyder will be suspended. He did acknowledge that Coach Snyder did have a personal issue at this time, but would not divulge further.
Indiana High plays their last football game of the season this Friday.
