The recent announcement of IUP’s extension of Spring Break has altered Indigo’s bus schedules, but only in a limited way.
John Kanyan, the executive director of the Indiana County Transit Authority, said that the park and ride service for Routes 24, 9 and four will continue to be suspended as university students will still be away from campus next week. Kanyan also said that they are continuing efforts to keep the buses clean.
Other bus routes and shared-ride services are continuing to run normally, and Kanyan said that they have plans in place in case drivers fall ill and routes need to be cancelled.
