Indiana County Judge Thomas Bianco is scheduled to conduct pretrial defense motions hearings today on the three arson cases against 19-year-old Dylan Dalessio of Plumville, and at the same time the judge will consider District Attorney Bob Manzi’s petition to revoke Dalessio’s bond.
Dalessio and 23-year-old Nicholas Leone are both charged with 32 criminal offenses for arson fires in December of 2018 and January of last year in northern Indiana County. They’re accused of setting fires to a barn along route 954 in Creekside, a storage building at Whitaker and Rudolph Roads in West Mahoning Township, and an Amish furniture shop along Stephenson Road in West Mahoning Township.
Last month, Dalessio and his father, 51-year-old Doug Dalessio, were arrested on felony charges of intimidation of witnesses or victims and criminal use of a communication facility after routine monitoring of phone conversations made from the Indiana County Jail last October. Dalessio was free on $300,000 bond at the time but was taken back to jail after the imposition of $200,000 bond on the new charges. His father was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Nicholas Leone will have a pretrial motions hearing on April 15th.
