There have been no official comments offered by Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. or any police agencies on an accident reportedly involving a pedestrian last night in front of the Rite Aid store along Resort Plaza Drive in Burrell Township.
State police, Citizens Ambulance, and the Blairsville and Black Lick fire companies were dispatched to the scene of the accident at 6:30 PM, with Lifeflight called soon after. It was later reported that the coroner’s office was summoned. The pedestrian was reported to be an elderly woman who was struck by a Jeep.
Again, there is no official word from any of the agencies involved.
