The IUP basketball teams advanced to the PSAC semifinals with a quarterfinal sweep of California Wednesday night at the KCAC.
The women did it in dramatic fashion, winning 68-65 in overtime. The men pulled away much sooner, beating Cal, 80-63.

The IUP teams advance to the semifinals on Saturday against East Stroudsburg at different locations. Both IUP teams defeated the Warriors back on November 24th at the KCAC. The women won, 65-50, while the men topped Stroud, 80-56.
A win in the semifinals will pit the ladies against the Gannon-Shippensburg winner. For the men, a win would put the Crimson Hawks versus the Shippensburg-Mercyhurst winner.
Both semifinal games on Saturday will be broadcast on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com beginning at 12:30 p.m.
