Indiana County Judge Thomas Bianco yesterday granted a defense motion to postpone a motions hearing for Nathan Price, the 18-year-old man accused along with Justin Stevenson of murdering a Cherryhill Township man and woman last October. The judge also said the hearing will not be continued again absent good cause, and moved Price’s Criminal Call from November 3rd to December 1st. Stevenson had been granted the same consideration previously.
The two are accused of beating to death Timothy Gardner and Jacqueline Brink at their apartment outside of Clymer on October 27th last year. Police say the deaths occurred as Price, Stevenson, and Isaiah Scott were purchasing marijuana from Gardner, but they accuse Price and Stevenson of planning and carrying out the murder of Gardner, and of killing Brink because she was a witness. Two young children sleeping in the apartment were not harmed.
The case against Isaiah Scott has been moved to juvenile court. No trial date has been set yet for Price and Stevenson.
