WHITE TOWNSHIP
State police are searching for two men who stole three iPhones from the AT&T retail store along Oakland Avenue in White Township last night. It happened at about 7:15 PM when the men entered the store and stayed near the front. They swiped the phones, which are valued at a total of $1,200, and left on foot walking westward, in the direction of the Rustic Lodge. The description is of two black men in their twenties, both with beards. One was wearing black pants, a grey hoodie, and a black Nike ball cap. The other wore black Nike sweatpants, a white and black Nike hoodie, and a ball cap. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 357-1960.
CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP
State police also report the theft of two guns in a burglary at a home in Cherryhill Township. Sometime between October 1st and the 4th, someone entered the home on North Harmony Road in Penn Run and stole a stainless steel .357 caliber Taurus revolver and a 20-gauge Mossberg tactical shotgun.
CENTER TOWNSHIP
A Johnstown woman escaped injury last night when her car caught on fire as she drove on Route 119 in Center Township. Sarah Letosky’s 2009 Subaru Outback was destroyed when the fire broke out near the Kwik Fill gas station. Coral-Graceton and Homer city firefighters responded.
