After taking over first place in the Metropolitan Division less than two weeks ago, the Penguins have lost six straight games, including three in a row in California this weekend to three of the worst teams in the NHL. Last night, they were blasted by San Jose, 5-0.

Injured Penguins defensemen Brian Dumoulin and John Marino skated before the game along with injured forward nick Bjugstad, but none of the three played in the game. Marino is considered the player most likely to return to the lineup before other two, although Dumoulin’s return is also coming soon.
The Pens will return to PPG Paints Arena on Tuesday night to faceoff with the Ottawa Senators.
