E. Dorothy (Rushton) Marshall, 89, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 in her home.
The daughter of William Rushton and Mary Grace (Abel) Rushton; she was born in Deckers Point, PA on June 21, 1930.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church in Blairsville. She was a past matron of Blairsville Chapter #166 Order of the Eastern Star, past royal matron queen of Christian Court #12 Order of Amaranth in Indiana, and past worthy high priestess of Westmoreland Shrine #18 of Pennsylvania White Shrine of Jerusalem, Greensburg.
She was a graduate of Marion Center High School, Class of 1948 and was self-employed in the automotive wholesale business.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Robert D. Marshall whom she married on December 21, 1951; sons, Robert W. Marshall of Blairsville, and Rodney D. Marshall (Nancy) of Blairsville; grandchildren, Jessica D. Marshall, Lauren N. Domasky, Shelby Katich, and Derek Marshall; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Rushton and a sister, Idella Ober.
As per Mrs. Marshall’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
