State police crime reports today include charges filed against a man and woman from Black Lick who are accused of leaving their five-year-old child alone in their trailer along Cripps Street, “with the door wide open” for about ninety minutes on February 4th. Police have not identified either of the adults involved, a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman. They say one was the parent and the other the stepparent of the boy. They’re charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Two woman are facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop Sunday evening at South 13th Street and Robertshaw Drive in White Township. State police say they seized heroin, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia from a vehicle occupied by 43-year-old Ellen Blystone of Marion Center and 26-year-old Haylee Jackson of Creekside.
A Cambria County woman was is accused of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township on February 3rd. State police say the woman is 21-year-old Courtney Elizabeth Mostoller of Friedens.
Drug charges have been filed against one person and will be filed against another after they were both found with unspecified drugs Hospital Road in White Township on Sunday night. State police have charged 25-year-old Jacob Hoover of Indiana with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, and with driving while suspended. 24-year-old Kelli Kunkle of Saltsburg will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police are investigating a burglary that happened on February 5th at a home along Roush Drive in White Township. Police say the thief likely used a key to get into the home of a 39-year-old man whose name was not released. Two TVs were stolen and the thief left in a 2012 Mazda 6.
42-year-old Kenneth Bowser of Derry is facing retail theft charges after police say he stole grocery and miscellaneous other items from the Burrell Township Walmart on February 17th. He apparently had an unknown accomplice.
