District 6 has announced more basketball playoff game sites and times. They include a Tuesday semifinal doubleheader involving Heritage Conference teams at Hollidaysburg Senior High School. The United Lions, seeded fourth in Girls’ AAA, will face top seeded Tyrone, tipping off at 6:00, followed by a boy’s matchup between top AAA seed Ligonier Valley, against fifth-seeded Penns Valley.
On Wednesday, there’s a Class A consolation doubleheader at Homer Center. In the first game at 6:00, the Purchase Line Red Dragons’ girls will battle the Blacklick Valley Vikings, followed by the Saltsburg boys against the Vikings’ boys. The winners of those two games will advance into the state tournament.
Those newly-announced games are in addition to Monday night’s already-announced Class AA semifinal matchups involving the Penns Manor girls and the Homer Center boys.
Penns Manor will tip off against Bishop McCort at Central Cambria at 7:00 (WQMU). Homer Center faces Bishop Giulfoyle (WCCS) at Hollidaysburg at 7:30.
