The IUP basketball teams hit the road for a doubleheader tonight in Erie against Gannon.
The IUP women are coming off their first loss of the season, to Mercyhurst by eight points last Saturday. They are 11-1, 6-1 in the PSAC. Gannon’s women are 13-2, 5-2 in the PSAC, and are coming off a win over UPJ.
The 13-0 IUP men are ranked number one in the nation in both the coaches and sports information directors’ polls. They beat Mercyhurst by 13 points their last time out, on Saturday. Gannon’s men are 0-11 after suffering through a miserable stretch of injuries.
The action tips off at 5:30 tonight. Airtime is 5:15.
