With their season over, the Steelers have started work on next season already, yesterday signing nine players from their practice squad to reserve/futures contracts. However, they did not sign several veterans from the practice squad, including running back Anthony McFarland, defensive tackle Carlos Davis, and offensive lineman John Leglue.
Those who did sign were linebacker Emeke Egbule, defensive backs Duke Dawson and Scott Nelson, wide receivers Cody White and Ja’Marcus Bradley, offensive linemen William Dunkle and Ryan McCollum, running back Jason Huntley and tight end Rodney Williams. They also re-signed former Ohio State running back Master Teague, who was with them in training camp and during a brief two-week span in the season.
