A man from Indiana County was killed early Tuesday morning when his tow truck rolled backwards over him.
Allegheny County Police say 42-year-old Andrew Sester of Lucernemines was pronounced dead at 4:54 AM on Tuesday in McKeesport. Sester was a driver for a repossession company, and was called out to repossess a truck in the 2000 block of Monongahela Boulevard. After removing the truck from the property, he stopped to further secure the tow and to call the dispatch center, so the police could be notified in case someone called. When the company could not get in contact with him, they sent another driver to the area. The second driver found Sester pinned underneath the rear wheels of the tow truck.
Allegheny County Police say foul play is not suspected, and it appeared that his tow truck was not in park and while he was moving around, the truck moved and pinned him under the tires.
The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
