Today is President’s Day, and as today is a federal holiday, there are some closures in effect.
Federal, State and Local Government offices are closed for the day today, and many local banks may be closed today. There will be no regular mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
As far as schools go, that depends on the district. Many schools in the Indiana County area will not have classes today, and that includes Blairsville-Saltsburg, Indiana, Penns Manor, and the ICTC, who are open for a staff in-service day today, and Marion Center and Purchase Line School Districts, who are closed for the day entirely. Homer-Center will be open today as it was originally scheduled to be open. United School District is open today as a make-up day for the snow day on February 7th.
