The state on Friday announced the release of $23.8 million for repairs to ten hazardous dams across the commonwealth, including Hemlock Lake in Banks Township, Indiana County, and Cloe Lake in Jefferson County. The dams are managed by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, which will provide another $19.7 million for the projects.
The other dams listed for the work are in Fayette, Somerset, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Sullivan, Venango, Lycoming, and Wyoming counties.
