INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have charged an Indiana teenager with DUI and other crimes for an incident Wendesday night. Police say that at 10:25 PM, they came across 18-year-old Ian Buterbaugh at the Sheetz at 4th and Philadelphia Streets and police discovered he was driving on a suspended license and under the influence of a controlled substance. Police found him in possession of drug paraphernalia and during the investigation, they found him trying to tamper with evidence. Buterbaugh was charged and then released to a sober adult.
Indiana borough police have charged someone with underage drinking for an incident early Friday morning. Police say at 1:19 AM, police investigated a report of an injured person at the intersection of South 7th and School Streets. Police found 20-year-old Morgan McCarthy of Indiana in a highly intoxicated state. Police charged McCarthy via citation.
