The Pirates have signed center fielder Jarrod Dyson to a one-year, $2 million dollar contract.
The 35 year-old has 250 stolen bases, including 30 last year with Arizona, and was a key member of the 2015 Royals World Series team.
Pirates manager Derek Shelton has named Keone Kela the closer after the first day of workouts.
