PINE TOWNSHIP
State police say a Pine Township man is the victim of an online scam that ended up costing him $500. The 70-year-old Strongstown man contacted police last night, saying he had used Paypal to pay for a Kitchenaid mixer that he was buying over Facebook Marketplace, but he never got the merchandise.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
A thief made off with a dolly and its straps on February 4th in Black Lick. The dolly had been left with a clothes dryer attached to it between noon and 12:18 PM along Old Indiana Road/Palmerton Road. The victim is Christopher Schwartz of Black Lick.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
State police do not provide a first name, but they do give a last name for a theft suspect who is accused of stealing an Apple watch and a FitBit device out of a display case at the Burrell Township Walmart store on February 2nd. The suspect, whose last name is Hafer, fled the scene in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee. Total value of the stolen items is $598.
