A woman who was reported missing from her home in West Lebanon was found dead yesterday afternoon.
State Police confirm that 55-year-old Lori Anne Lane was found by some close friends on Friday in a small stream along Taylor Road in Young Township. State Police and Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. confirmed that the passersby found the car had overturned on the passenger side. When EMT’s arrived, Overman said in his report that there were obvious signs of death in the vehicle.
Few other details are known about her death, including the cause and manner. Those will be determined after an autopsy and toxicology tests are performed. Police and the coroner’s office both say that foul play has been ruled out.
