After an active morning, where emergency crews responded to thirteen motor vehicle accidents, crews had a busy afternoon responding to several incidents.
The majority of the incidents from Friday afternoon were reports of lines down or low-hanging utility lines. At 12:54 in the afternoon, Aultman Fire Department responded to lines down on Route 286 in Blacklick Township. The next incident was reported at 3:21 PM in Armstrong Township along North Ridge Road. Elderton Fire Department was called out for that. Another wires down incident was reported in White Township, on East Pike Road. Indiana Fire Department responded at 4:17 PM.
Also a vehicle fire was reported this morning at 1:57 on Smith Road in North Mahoning Township. Both Perry Township and Plumville firefighters were called out to the scene along with state police.
