State System of Higher Education coaches who are members of APSCUF have approved the tentative four-year contract agreement. The deal announced on December 10th still needs to be ratified by the State System Board of Governors.
Members voted on Monday and Tuesday and the votes were counted yesterday. Ninety-eight percent of those who voted were in favor of the accord.
APSCUF coach executive leader John Gump said the contract, which expires June 30th, 2023, is “…a contract that recognizes the important work our coaches do on our campuses and with our student-athletes. This agreement also provides a greater voice for our members in issues regarding our working conditions and job security.”
The new contract will be posted on the union’s website once it is ratified. The new faculty contract also expires in 2023.
