A mailbox was stolen sometime between 8 PM on January 31st and 7 AM on February 1st. State police say the theft happened at the home of 29-year-old Shawn Reed near Starford Road in Green Township. Police canvassed the area and conducted interviews, but did not turn up the mailbox. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact the State Police at 724-357-1960.
State Police are still investigating a case of harassment in the area of College Lodge Road that happened on Saturday. Police say at 3:45 PM, 44-year-old Jacqueline McGinty reported that she had been slapped in the hand while she was in the woods by an unknown man.
State police are investigating a theft by deception case in Washington Township. Police say on Saturday at 8:46 AM, they responded to a call about the reported theft of $280 from the Apple account of a 29-year-old Creekside woman living on Route 954 North. Police say that no other information is available, and the investigation is being handled by Apple’s Fraud Department.
