Jarry was pulled from Monday’s Winter Classic after he took a shot to the knee and was replaced by Casey DeSmith. His status for Thursday’s game is questionable.
The 33-year-old Tokarski compiled a record of 8-6-4 with a .926 save percentage in 18 games with the WBS Penguins. He made his debut in 2009 with Tampa Bay before bouncing around multiple teams. Tokarski also rostered with the Penguins in 2019-20, but spent the entire season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Last year, he notched a career-high 29 appearances with the Buffalo Sabres.
