With college football signing day coming February 5th, the names of transfers or high school players are showing up for IUP for the fall.
Alex Ramart, a quarterback formerly at Akron University, has enrolled at IUP, with two years of eligibility.
Ramart, from Richmond,Texas, is 6-3 215 pounds and threw for 79 touchdowns and more than 6,000 yards in two years of high school ball. He was a backup at Akron.

Three other transfers headed to IUP are- Conner Kelly, a 6-3 linebacker from Edinboro and younger brother of former IUP receiver Zac Kelly, cornerback Bryce Gibson from Youngstown State and a native of Johnstown, and freshman running back Dayjure Stewart, who spent last fall at Fork Union Military Academy. He has four years of eligibility.
Also announcing his commitment to IUP is Thomas Jefferson wide receiver Dan Deabner, who was the Post-Gazette Co-Player of the Year.
