If you are headed into town today, expect to see some increased traffic around IUP campus as students start the spring semester.
After taking the day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, IUP and the 13 other state-owned universities are in session. IUP officials reported that move-in went well over the weekend, and that the inclement weather that rolled through on Saturday was not a factor for the students who moved in on that day.
Spring Break is set for March 11th to the 18th. Classes will end on May 6th, with finals starting the next day. Commencement exercises are scheduled for Friday, May 10th for Masters and Doctoral Degrees and Saturday, May 11th for undergraduate students.
