Martin Luther King, Jr. day is recognized as a day of service, and along those lines, the American Red Cross will hold their annual blood drive at the Indiana Mall.
This year marks the 26th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day/Indiana Day of Giving Blood Drive, and Karen Sistek of the American Red Cross said that the day has always been a good day for blood collection.
Autumn Moore with the Red Cross said that the need for blood is constant.
The Blood drive runs today from 9 AM to 7 PM. This blood drive will not only accept normal blood donations, but also Power Red donations.
