Multiple fire companies are now at the scene of a residential structure fire in Armstrong Township.
Indiana County 911 reports that the fire was reported around 7:51 this morning at 1620 Cheese Run Road. Creekside, Indiana, Elderton, Plumville, Homer City and McIntyre fire departments are on the scene right now, along with the RIG team and Citizen’s Ambulance. Dayton was called in to standby for Plumville and Brush Valley was called in to standby for Homer City.
Initial scanner reports said that the structure was already engulfed in smoke. As of 8:36 this morning, the fire was out and crews were looking for hotspots.
No word yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured.
