PSP-INDIANA
State Police are investigating a theft on Sunday in Burrell Township. Sometime between 6 AM and 6:30 PM, someone broke into the garage of Cory Howard of Blairsville and took various tools and oxycodone.
There were no reported injuries in a two-vehicle crash reported last Thursday on Indian Springs Road. State Police say that around 6:09 PM, troopers were called out to a crash at the intersection of Indian Springs Road and Rustic Lodge Road in White Township. A vehicle going East on Indian Springs Road ran a red light and crashed into a car going south on Rustic Lodge Road. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, but were able to be driven from the scene. The drivers, who were not identified in the report, were wearing their seat belts and they were not seen by medical personnel. The driver of the car that ran the red light will be cited for failure to obey traffic signals.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
An 18-year-old Cannonsburg man now faces charges of shoplifting and underage drinking for an incident on Saturday. Indiana borough police say that around 9:14 PM, officers were called to the Sheetz on the Point on Wayne Avenue. They say Myles Marino took a pack of candy and tried to leave the store without paying for it. Police found him to be under the influence of alchol at the time. He was arrested and later released.
