State police say they will release more information today on their investigation of a video that reportedly shows a two-year-old child being given a vaping device, taking two hits from it, and two females laughing about it.
In a Twitter release yesterday, Troopers Steve Limani and Cliff Greenfield say the “Troop A, Indiana Criminal Investigative Unit is aware of a video and is investigating the related incident in which a 2-year-old child was given a vaping device. The involved persons and child have been identified and charges are pending.”
Various media reports describe the video, which has been sent to them by several people, showing the child being assisted in taking a hit from the device, then sitting down and taking another hit, and then the camera swinging to a shot of a female laughing.
The United School District last night issued a statement that said, “The administration was made aware of the video, and we believe the two individuals are United students. Their names were provided to the authorities who are investigating.”
