At least one person was injured in a vehicle crash yesterday near the Wayne Avenue off-ramp of Route 119.
Homer City fire officials were on scene around 6:30 PM for a one vehicle crash on Route 119 North near the turnoff for Wayne Avenue. Fire officials say that the driver veered into the right guardrail, then for an unknown reason went back across the road and into the left guard rail, and came to rest in the median.
The driver was not injured, but a passenger was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of mild to moderate injuries. Crews were on the scene for about one and a half hours to investigate and clear the scene.
