CENTER TOWNSHIP
State police say they are investigating the death of a man in Center Township. Few details were released. Police say they began the investigation yesterday afternoon of what they determined was the “accidental death” of a 37-year-old man inside his home along Fire Academy Road.
Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.
The Indiana County Coroner’s office has not issued a report.
SOUTH MAHONING TOWNSHIP
No one was injured yesterday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Route 85 at the intersection with Route 210 in Plumville.
State police say 38-year-old Matthew Caughley of Ambridge, Beaver County, failed to get stopped at a stop sign and slid through the intersection, colliding with a car driven by 64-year-old Wanda Feid of Plumville.
Damage was minor and Caughley was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.
