State Police are asking the public to help identify the suspect in an attempted shoplifting incident at the Walmart in White Township.
Troopers say the theft happened at 3:08 PM on New Year’s Day as the suspect put over $900 worth of items in a cart and tried to leave the store without paying for it. Walmart Loss Prevention Personnel saw him and when they approached him, he abandoned the cart and fled the store, getting into a light blue GMC Envoy and driving away.
State police have provided images from Walmart’s surveillance system that have the suspect and the getaway vehicle.
