The Indiana County commissioners will meet today and on the agenda is the final approval of the 2023 budget.
Last month the commissioner’s approved advertising the budget, which came to $48,909,208 in expenditures and only $43,485,968 in revenues. The county was looking to fill the gap with money left over from this year’s budget, and there is no proposed increase in property taxes, or any cuts in services.
The commissioners are also expected to approve change orders for projects concerning the Indiana County Food Bank Warehouse, the coroner’s office and the Glen Campbell Borough water system improvement project. Today’s meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. at the commissioners’ meeting room at the Indiana County courthouse.
