A man and woman have both been charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing meat and grocery items from the White Township Walmart store on Monday afternoon.
State police say 33-year-old Patrick Palmer of Murrysville and 40-year-old Jamie Zayac of Indiana worked together to steal more than $267 worth of items, including shrimp rings, a variety of cuts of beef, and a six-pack of Pepsi.
Both are charged with felony-grade retail theft for this incident, but Palmer, who also has a Seward address, has 13 other active cases in the court system right now dating back to last May, almost all of them for retail theft or conspiracy to retail theft. He has preliminary hearings scheduled for January 21st and January 27th. Zayac’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for the 27th.
