Donwtown Indiana, Inc. will soon hold their annual meeting where they will honor an area businessman and some local businesses and entities for their work in promoting the Indiana borough business district.
The meeting is set for January 27th at The Coney in Indiana, and this year, they will honor Josh Rosenberger with the Heart of Downtown award. Rosenberger is the owner of The 700 Shop in Downtown Indiana, and has also helped with the large holiday decorations during the First Commonwealth Bank It’s A Wonderful Life Festival, including the light displays from the former Festival of Lights. He has also been the coordinator of the volunteers for the Teddy Bear Fund Drive donation week, and allowed Your Hometown Stations to broadcast from his store during that week of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.
Four others will be honored with the Downtown Indiana Ambassador Awards. They include The Artist Hand, Christina Nicoll of 7th Street Marketry, Rose Stritmatter of First Commonwealth Bank and Indiana Borough Police Chief Justin Schawl.
Tickets for the meeting are $35 and include heavy hors d’oevures at the Coney. The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
